The price of failed leadership is already too high for us not to attend to the process through which we develop it.
LEAP Africa has selected twenty new Fellows to be part of the annual Fellowship Programme, the Social Innovators Programme (SIP2017) funded by Union Bank.
Part of the year-long Fellowship programme is a one week residential training which began today with series of impactful sessions on self-awareness, leadership for change, systems thinking and insights into social innovation taken by the LEAP team including Mrs. Ndidi Nwuneli, Founder LEAP Africa. Day one also featured an interactive session with Mrs.Ogochukwu Ekezie, Head Corporate Communications, Union Bank Nigeria.
The SIP empowers young Nigerian social entrepreneurs and expands the capacity of these individuals to perform effective leadership roles within their organizations. Beyond leadership development, the workshop emphasizes sustainability, building strong systems and structures and values.
Through the Fellowship, investors and funders have access to some of Nigeria’s innovative social entrepreneurs whose enterprises are offering positive long-term solutions.
