Turning ‘Waste to Wealth’

A young Nigerian Climate Change Advocate, Eyitayo Oyelowo is competing to win a trip to the UN Climate Change Conference in Marrakech, Morocco (COP22) in November through the Global Youth Video Competition on Climate Change.

Oyelowo’s video about turning ‘Waste to Wealth’ in Kwara state has been selected, and now this budding young Nigerian climate change advocate needs your help to win the competition.

So please watch and share the video below to support her, as the video with the most views wins.

The competition, which is being run by Television for the Environment (tve) and is part of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change’s Action for Climate Empowerment and Momentum for Change initiatives, will culminate in a high-profile awards ceremony at COP 22 Marrakech.

Viewing/voting for the #ClimateChange Video Contest is between Wednesday, 13 to Friday 23 September.
