Libraries are built on the foundation of knowledge, people who visit the library are nourished with wisdom and understanding.

Members of Aspire book club, a community book clinic in Shao, whose members are composed of mainly teenagers in secondary school which is run by Ojumu Olalekan a volunteer for volunteer service overseas, paid a visit to the state library in Ilorin Kwara state.

The trip which was tagged ‘THE QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE BROUGHT US HERE’ is meant to awaken the desire in the students to try new things and pursue previously unconsidered dreams, introduce students to job opportunities and can spark new interests and passions.

Such a trip can result in greater achievement in all subjects. By seeing real-life application of the lessons that they are learning in school, students might be more likely to understand and appreciate the importance and relevance of what they are learning.
